Salon-quality grooming, without the salon.
Mobile grooming changes the whole visit, not just the location. Your dog is the only dog in the van, there’s no car journey and no time spent waiting beside other dogs, and the van carries its own water and power. That makes it especially practical for big dogs, older dogs and dogs who find a busy salon hard going. Why mobile grooming suits so many dogs

Not every visit has to be a full groom. These smaller options are available where they suit your dog.
I’m the owner behind Pawlished & Pampered, providing calm, one-to-one mobile dog grooming across Glasgow, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
I’ve spent years around, caring for and owning dogs, and built the business around individual care and reliable, personal customer service.
I work with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Dachshunds to Bullmastiffs. Breed, coat, age, temperament and previous grooming experiences all shape my approach. I’m trained and fully insured, and your dog’s comfort, welfare and individual needs always come first.
Every dog is handled as an individual, at a pace that suits them. Because it’s one dog at a time in the van outside your home, with no other dogs and no journey, each appointment stays calm and predictable.

I regularly groom bigger, heavier-coated dogs, and the van is set up with the space to handle them comfortably. German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Huskies and Malamutes all need thorough drying and de-shedding rather than a quick wash. Double coats are maintained and de-shed, not routinely clipped short, so they keep doing their job. More on large breed dog grooming.
Some dogs need more time, quieter handling or a few breaks, and that’s fine. With one dog in the van and no waiting room, there’s no pressure from other dogs or a busy salon. I’ll always be honest about what your dog can comfortably manage on the day, because their welfare comes before a perfect finish. Read our guide to mobile grooming for anxious dogs.
Every dog is an individual, but breed, background and temperament can tell you a lot about how they may communicate and respond to grooming. Dogs have been bred for very different purposes, so behaviours that can sometimes look stubborn, difficult or intense often make much more sense when you understand where they come from.
I adjust my approach to the dog in front of me. Some dogs respond best to reassurance, patience and a very gentle pace; others are more comfortable with clear, calm and confident handling. Size, breed, age, previous experiences and personality all play a part. The aim is never to force one method onto every dog — it’s to understand what helps that individual dog feel safe and workable.
Some dogs simply aren’t ready for a full groom on the first visit. That doesn’t mean grooming is impossible — it means we need to understand where the difficulty is and build from there.
A one-hour confidence-building session lets me assess how your dog responds to different parts of grooming. They may be comfortable with bathing but frightened of the dryer, relaxed with brushing but uncomfortable having their feet handled, or simply need time to become familiar with the van and equipment.
Where appropriate, we can arrange a short series of confidence-building sessions fairly close together. Repeated, manageable exposure helps us build on what went well, work gradually on the difficult areas and aim towards a normal grooming routine once the dog is ready.
I’ve spent years around dogs, working with them and owning dogs of different breeds and personalities myself. That experience has taught me that even dogs of the same breed can be completely different, and good grooming starts with paying attention to the individual dog rather than rushing through a routine.
I genuinely enjoy what I do and take pride in doing the job properly. I’d rather give a dog the time it needs, work carefully and produce a result I’m happy with than rush an appointment just to move on to the next one.
For me, good grooming is a balance of practical experience, patience, clear handling and genuine care for the dog in front of me.

What is mobile dog grooming and how does it work? We bring a fully equipped grooming van to your door and groom your dog inside it, one-to-one — no cages, no waiting rooms and no car journey. You hand your dog over at home and collect them from the van when they're finished.
Do I need to provide water or electricity? No — nothing is needed from you. Our van is fully self-sufficient, with onboard water, Webasto instant hot water and a dual lithium battery bank. If there's an outdoor socket we may plug in with your permission, but it's never essential — all we need is a safe place to park nearby.
Can you groom large and giant breed dogs? Yes. Large and double-coated dogs are a big part of what we do, from Labradors and Golden Retrievers to German Shepherds and Huskies. The van has room for bigger dogs, and every groom is one dog at a time.
How do I check if you cover my postcode? Ask Tilly or use the price check with your postcode — it tells you whether we cover your area and shows current openings. You can also browse our service areas page.
Which grooming service does my dog need? It mostly depends on coat type. Smooth and short coats suit the Bath & Brush, silky and double coats suit the Bath & Style, and coats that keep growing need a Full Groom. Compare them on our services page, or ask Tilly and she’ll suggest the right one for your breed.
How much does mobile dog grooming cost? Prices depend on your dog’s breed, size, coat and the service you choose. Use the price check with your postcode and breed to see your exact price and current openings, or browse our services page.
We groom everything from large double-coated dogs like German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers and Labradors to haircut breeds such as Cockapoos and Shih Tzus that need regular Full Grooms, plus Spaniels and other feathered coats.
