The Full Groom is for coats that keep growing and need clipping or a full haircut — curly, wool and wavy coats such as poodle crosses, Bichons and Shih Tzus. It's also the natural next step for puppies moving on to their first adult haircut. Short, smooth and double coats are better suited to Bath & Brush or Bath & Style.

How long does a mobile Full Groom take? It depends on your dog's breed, size, coat and condition, so there isn't one fixed time. Most Full Grooms take a few hours, and when you check prices and openings for your dog you'll see the timing for that service.
How often should I book a Full Groom for my dog? Dogs with continuously growing coats (Cockapoos, Poodles, Shih Tzus, Bichon Frises and similar) should have a Full Groom every 4 to 6 weeks to prevent matting and keep the coat healthy. A Bath & Style is not a substitute for a Full Groom on these coats — they need the haircut on a regular cycle.
What if my dog's coat is matted? Your dog's comfort comes first. Light tangles are worked out during the brush-out; where matting is tight to the skin, we'll clip it short rather than brush painfully and let it grow back healthy. Our Matting & Extra Coat Work add-on gives the extra time needed.
Do I need to provide water or electricity? No. The van carries its own water, hot water and power, so nothing is needed from your home — just a safe place to park nearby.

We cover Paisley, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow and selected nearby areas — including Renfrew, Inchinnan, Erskine, Newton Mearns, Giffnock, Clarkston, Shawlands, Battlefield and Pollokshields. Some fringe areas are route-dependent, so send us your postcode first and we will confirm.

Popular choices include breed-standard trims, teddy bear cuts for a rounded fluffy finish, and shorter puppy cuts for easy day-to-day maintenance. Your groomer will discuss the options with you before the session begins and recommend what works best for your dog's coat type and lifestyle.
My dog has never been groomed before. Is a Full Groom suitable? For dogs that have never been professionally groomed, we recommend starting with a shorter introductory session — a Bath & Brush for short/smooth coats, or a Bath & Style for silky/double coats — so they get comfortable with the grooming environment before progressing to a longer Full Groom. For continuously growing coats a Full Groom is still the correct service, but we work at their pace and are always happy to discuss the best approach for first-timers.
