Bath & Style is for silky, long and double coats that need a bath, a thorough dry, brush-out and de-shed, plus a Scissor Tidy Up of the face, feet and feathers. It keeps the coat clean and comfortable without a full body clip.

What happens if my dog's coat is severely matted? Matting is covered by our Matting & Extra Coat Work add-on, from +£5 up to a maximum of +£15 depending on how much extra work is genuinely needed. We assess your dog's coat on arrival and agree the price with you before we start. If the matting is too severe to brush out kindly, clipping the coat short is usually the gentler option — we'll discuss that with you first and recommend a Full Groom instead.
Can I stay with my dog in the van during the groom? We generally advise against this. Having an owner present can actually be counterproductive and sometimes unsafe, as it trains the dog to expect you to be there. The best approach is to allow your dog to relax and build one-to-one trust with our groomer.
Can you groom large or giant breed dogs? Yes, we actually specialise in large and giant breeds! Our mobile grooming van is fully equipped to safely and comfortably handle bigger dogs.
How is a Bath & Style different from a Full Groom? A Bath & Style is the complete bath, blow-dry and style for silky and double-coated dogs — warm bath, thorough de-shed, fluff blow-dry and a full scissor tidy of the face, feet, feathers and hygiene areas. Their coat naturally sheds and doesn't need clipping. A Full Groom is a different service for continuously growing coats (Cockapoos, Labradoodles, Poodles, Bichon Frises, Shih Tzus and similar) that grow continuously and need clipping and a full haircut.
How often should I book a Bath & Style? For silky, straight and feathered coats, a Bath & Style around every 6 to 8 weeks keeps the coat clean and tangle-free. For double coats, timing varies by breed, coat density and shedding cycle, with regular maintenance especially useful during heavier shedding. Continuously growing coats should book a Full Groom every 4 to 6 weeks instead — a Bath & Style is not a substitute for their haircut.
Can you help with seasonal shedding? Yes. A deep de-shed with a high-velocity blow-dry is included, which removes a large amount of loose undercoat. During heavier seasonal moults, regular maintenance visits help keep shedding manageable.
Do you need my water or electricity? No — the van is fully self-sufficient with its own water and power on board. If a socket is available we'll happily plug in with your permission, as it helps the equipment run at full performance, but it isn't required.
