How are your prices worked out? Prices start from £40 for a Bath & Brush, £45 for a Bath & Style and £60 for a Full Groom. The final price depends on your dog's size, coat type and condition, and how long the groom realistically takes. You'll always be told the price before we start — no surprises at the end.
What can change the price? Heavy matting, a very overgrown coat, a thick double coat that needs a full de-shed, or a dog that needs extra time and patience. These are handled through clearly priced add-ons rather than hidden charges.
How long does a groom take? Around 45–60 minutes for a Bath & Brush, 60–90 minutes for a Bath & Style, and 1.5–3 hours for a Full Groom. Large and giant breeds take longer. We never rush your dog.
Do you need my water or electricity? No — the van is fully self-sufficient with its own water and power on board. If a socket is available we'll happily plug in with your permission, as it helps the equipment run at full performance, but it isn't required.
How often should my dog be groomed? Curly, wool and doodle-type coats grow continuously and are usually groomed every 4–6 weeks to prevent matting. Silky, straight and feathered coats do well around every 6–8 weeks. With double coats, timing varies by breed, coat density and shedding cycle — regular maintenance is especially useful during heavier shedding. Short, smooth coats are generally groomed less frequently, as needed rather than on a fixed schedule.
