A one-to-one introduction to grooming built around your puppy's confidence. This is not a full haircut — we only do what your puppy can comfortably manage.
If your puppy is coping well We work through the full session — warm bath, low-pressure drying, nail trim and a light tidy around eyes, feet and hygiene areas.
If your puppy needs more time We focus on handling, brushing and the sound of the dryer. No bath is forced — the session becomes about trust.

What age should my puppy have their first groom? Many puppies can start from around 12 to 14 weeks, provided they are developmentally ready and have had their initial vaccinations. We always recommend following your own vet's guidance on timing.
Will my puppy get a full haircut? No. This session introduces your puppy to grooming in a calm, positive way. We may do a very light scissor tidy around the eyes, feet, or outline if comfortable, but a full style is not the aim.
What if my puppy is nervous? That is completely normal. We work at your puppy's pace — if they are not ready for a bath or dryer, we focus on handling, brushing, and trust-building instead. There is no pressure to complete every step.
How many sessions before a full groom? It depends on the puppy. Some settle quickly and need only one or two foundation sessions. Others may benefit from three or more. We will always guide you honestly on when your puppy is ready to progress.
Do curly or doodle-type coats need earlier grooming? Yes. Breeds with curly, wavy, or continuously growing coats benefit greatly from early introductions. Their coats require regular professional maintenance, so building a positive association early makes a real difference.
