Miniature Poodle prices & grooming times

£65 covers a maintained pet trim on a coat kept on a regular cycle. It is starting pricing, not elaborate show-style hand-scissoring.

Understanding the Miniature Poodle coat

Poodle coats grow continuously and do not shed out, so loose hair stays in the curl and packs down towards the skin. Without regular brushing and trimming, mats form behind the ears, under the collar, in the armpits and on the legs. A maintained pet trim keeps the coat even and practical, with the face, feet and tail neatened.

Hair that keeps growing rather than shedding out, so it mats without regular clipping and scissor work. These breeds need a full groom on a strict cycle. That puts Miniature Poodles on our Signature Full Groom package.

Built for Miniature Poodles

Best for: Poodles on a firm 4–6 week cycle, with brushing down to the skin at home in between.

Not suited to: Elaborate show or continental trims. If the coat has matted close to the skin, a shorter trim is the kinder option.

Miniature Poodle grooming questions

How often should a Miniature Poodle be groomed?

Every 4–6 weeks suits most Poodles, with brushing down to the skin at home a few times a week so the curl does not pack.

Do you do show or continental Poodle trims?

Our Poodle grooms are maintained pet trims. The £65 price is for a practical, even trim on a regularly groomed coat, not elaborate show-style hand-scissoring.
